Co-founder & CTO of Parachute - I help over-worked lawyers save time with AI.
Parachute gives law firms a single platform for drafting, review, collaboration and client delivery - with AI doing the groundwork and lawyers staying in control of the advice.
In Dec 2025 we raised $1.8M pre-seed led by Rampersand and have already gained huge traction with forward-thinking law firms across Australia.
Previously, I co-founded Kinde, which we grew from 0 to supporting 50,000+ businesses worldwide, including hundreds of paying customers on up to six-figure enterprise contracts.
We raised one of Australia's largest seed rounds ($10.6M), built a distributed engineering team across continents, expanded into six global regions and kept enterprise churn close to zero.
It takes a lot for someone to hand you the front-door keys to their product, which isn't something I take lightly.
I've been coding since 1998 (when spacer GIFs were still a thing) and still love it. These days I split my time between engineering and product strategy, leading teams, and working closely with founders.
Early adopter of AI in engineering and product, applying it to both internal team practices and building new features.
Based in Byron, raising 3 kids, building businesses and still finding time for the beach.
Founders in the trenches, engineers who care about craft and lawyers who want to trade war stories. ...also, Tom.
